I agree these are hopeful signs, but let's not forget, the PA is no democracy and there are lots of essentially uncontrolled militias running about whose raison d'etre is continued violence. Martin Indyk commented that previous Arab revolts had petered out after about three years. Barring major external changes, I would predict about the same for this one. But I'm just guessing.
