Billserv Receives Nasdaq Delisting Notice and Plans Appeal

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Billserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLLS - News) today announced that it has received a Nasdaq Staff Determination letter on November 20, 2002 indicating that the Company has not regained compliance with the minimum bid price per share requirement under Marketplace Rule 4450(e)(2), and that the Company does not meet the minimum stockholders' equity requirement under Marketplace Rule 4450(a)(3) for continued listing on The Nasdaq National Market.

The Company has requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel to review the Nasdaq Staff's Determination to delist the Company's common stock. Under Nasdaq Marketplace Rules, the hearing request will stay the delisting of the Company's common stock pending the Panel's decision. The hearing is expected to be scheduled within 45 days of the filing of the hearing request. The Company will be presenting a plan to Nasdaq for achieving the requirements for continued listing, but there can be no assurance the Panel will grant the Company's request for continued listing. . .
