And my response to Mr. Al-Maeena:

Mr. Al-maeena,

Hmmm... No proof of any criminal act by Mr. Basnan or others who diverted this "medical assistance money" from its intended purpose, WITHOUT notifying Princess Haifa??? In the US, we call that fraud.

Does not Princess Haifa feel her benevolent donation was misused, eventually for the purpose of contributing to sustaining and assisting two 9/11 terrorists??

You say there's no proof of any criminal act, yet Mr. Adel Al-Jubeir, adviser to Crown Prince Abdullah, stated on November 26th the following:

***“We have realized over the years that people have now taken advantage of our charity ... our innocence,” Al-Jubeir told CNN. Saudi officials have confirmed that Princess Haifa had written checks that were then signed over to people who happened to be friends and associates of two of the hijackers.***

Now Sir... I wish to humbly object to your assertion that this money was not illegally diverted from it's original purpose. Princess Haifa may not have known (god forbid anything to the contrary be discovered) where the money was going, but when that check came back through the bank, the signatures of all of these various parties were on it, signing over cashing rights....

Now is misappropriating money from its intended purpose a crime or not in Saudi Arabia?? Has not Princess Haifa been defrauded (and severely embarrassed) by the activities of these individuals?

And why is Princess Haifa NOT pressing criminal charges against these people for diverting the generous donation provided to them???

Please explain why this is not a crime.. Because as an average American, living in the US where such activities ARE CRIMINAL, such an explanation is necessary in determining culpability.

Were this to have happened to me, I would immediately press criminal fraud charges against everyone involved in diverting my donation from the purpose for which I generously donated it.

And this is not a crime in Saudi Arabia, then perhaps the benevolence of Princess Haifa, or a benevolent person such as yourself, might be bestowed upon me, as I have a few "medical problems" that I would like to attend to.. and $2,000 a month over the next two years might just resolve them for me as they apparently did for the recipients of this aid (since they obviously had such a surplus they could sign the checks over to "friends"... :0)

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXX
