The overwhelming threat to this g.w.n. is that adjacent to us lies the most militaristic centre of power our species has ever known .... assaults on our forestry and other industries [prairie grain lately it is said] are merely the economic expressions of the attitudes that result in the seemingly deep-rooted need to swing such a big stick in the manner and places it is oft swung .... Moore in his new movie seems at points to explore the idea that perhaps a uniquely fear-based culture lies behind the compulsion to acquire so many multiples of the firepower necessary to blow away everything and everybody in sight, interesting idea, one on which it would be fascinating to see what our species says in future centuries .... should we have the great good fortune to see future centuries

It is for this reason that we need to defend our land ourselves .... that in so doing we would save the responsible elements of the US some of their tax money, is a good thing and a benefit, another reason for sure, however it is quite secondary in importance to the central issue, which is we defend this g.w.n. or we lose it .... i am surprised at you for suggesting otherwise, thought you were a virtual northern Samuel Clemens, tsk tsk .... just trying to get me to type more, no doubt ... well, got to go, no more till later, cheers
