"let he who is without sin cast the first stone", is from the apocrypha, you won't find it in the KJ, and "judge not lest ye be judged" is from the old testament.
Also, the the meaning of "an eye for an eye" from Deuteronomy, is the punishment for lying in court against a person, in that the punishment for false witness is that the liar should be punished as would have been done the accused, an eye for an eye etc.. It is rarely mentioned as a primary punishment and was not meant to indicate sadistic treatment, but recompense. Suggested punishments in Mosaic law of physical kind are not that common. A system of fines predominated for a lot of offenses that we practically hang people for today. There are many contradictions in the bible though. Leviticus had some heavy admonitions however against all kind of things,such as wearing cotton and wool in the same garment, or growing two crops in the same field. You guessed it, death to the transgressor.
