Bilow, All that my be true but I was asking a political question. Bush has spent a ton of political capital on Iraq. If this is another round of Saddamis Interuptus, then by Easter Bush is going to have a bunch o' good ol' boys wonnerin' were the dang war is. He can probably fail in Iraq and keep the conservative base happy. He can't be impotent in Iraq. Hello Pesident Guilliani. He is NOT that stupid. When my wife gets all dressed up in her dancing clothes I better get her to a dancefloor. Bush has got a good chunk of this folk dressed up in fatigues and they want to PARDEEEE. I don't buy that Bush would put himself into this position without a very strong intent to deliver. If you get the weapons all heated up and don't take 'em out for a shot, you don't get a second date. For your scenario to hold, Bush has to have thought through how to keep the red meat eaters sated.
