I am surprised by the relative paucity of comments about the rocket attack against the Israeli airplane. Can’t blame the Ukrainians for this one. The talk is that it may have been an Al Qaeda operation. Whoever did it, they are playing hard ball, they are clearly raising the stakes, and are prepared to escalate the violence. If the attack were successful, this would be a great tragedy – and a huge event. On the American Thanksgiving holiday, probably not incidentally.
