What is hot? We had some 30 and 40 year old folks at Thanksgiving dinner today and I was asking what is going to be the next technology item on their shopping list. They all said the cell phone that takes pictures and sends sound. They all had ideas on how they were going to use this toy. The next item was a HD quality thin screen for their computers. They were telling me I would be able to pick up the smaller ones early next year for around $1000. I told them I have been hoping this screen of mine would start spewing smoke and burn up (it is the largest flat panel l display that I can hook up to my MAC) but the HD panorama large screen is really great. These darn things are around $3000 today and they thought the price would be cut at least 30% next year - maybe 50%. Guess I want this monitor of mine to last until the 50% discount occurs. <g>
