People are thinking this is fundamentals, shorts covering, etc, etc. It's stupid charts saying there's nothing in the way, so ride it up until there is. Don't make it any more difficult than it has to be. Not to put TA down but taking a disciplined approach based upon charts meant one would have missed out on a big move higher. I have to admit that prior to this, it was a great indicator. The small caps just got unloaded in a big way over the 2 years and there is no more selling left...and then put in the rest of the factors together, including short covering, bottom fishing, and what was noted in that article, and we get a big surge....and my "gut" says it keeps going higher especially small cap techs. Agree fundamentals really have little to do with this market move or any other in the past few years. Maybe it is just time to trade based upon "gut feeling".<g> Maybe the type of TA that has worked best is now factored into the market...and therefore has to fail.<g>
