I like this opinion of Lazarus written by Robert Heinlein, I thought it was very eloquently put, I guess that is why he was the first recipient of the Grandmaster Nebula Award (Lifetime Achievement) Here is that first quote...

Here is another good Lazaraus Long quote, you will be surprised when you find out who said that first one. The readers who love Heinlein must have thought that was very funny.

If you haven't read much Heinlein I would suggest that retreading a few quotes you find on the web is no substitute for actually reading his work. You would do well to start with Orphans in the Sky (c) 1941, I imagine that I am like Hoyland and you are like Narby, that could just be my imagination though.
