Just an observation. I've got myriads of freinds who are being let go...seven different people in the last two months alone. Interestingly, every one of them is in sales, ranging from software for iBM to packaging for IP to, all quota+ high performers. Most of my friends/acquaintances in management that had been canned happened late last year, early this year. It's always been considered axiomatic that the closer you are to the customer, the safer your job. I think companies are making their final pushes to do anything they can to come close to earnings for this/next quarter in hopes of the long awaited turn around. If it doesn't materialize this time I believe we'll see the cycle start all over again...massive cuts from top down that will make the Unemployment moving average sky-rocket. -dave edit: Please help me<stop> I just gave my boys Cocoa Pebbles<stop> Situation deteriorating<stop> If I'm not back by nap ti....ArggggHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
