First of all, SOROS, which version of the Bible do you consider to be "the literal and complete Word of God"?
Second, you seem to confuse man judging man regarding the laws of man, which is why we have a system of justice, and God judging men. You may be sure that someone has violated our laws, but you do not know what is in their heart, so you are not qualified to judge them as God would judge them.
Third, in the story Mark used in his message, the point being made by Jesus was not to stop being greedy for fear of damnation. He was prepared to die so that the sins of men would be forgiven. Rather, He was showing Zacchaeus by example that the way to God (and true happiness on this earth as well) is through generosity not greed, through opening your heart (to both God and your fellow man) not closing it. To put it clinically, positive reinforcement, not negative.
Lastly, I'm through debating this with you. You seem to need to label me as "un-Christian" and "uncomfortable" with what you consider to be the "only truth". SOROS, you don't know me any more than you know the guys buying the $15k wine. You don't even know if I AM Christian - not that it's any of your business.
Now, can we please get back to the markets? I desire greater wealth so that I can provide better for my family AND do good things for others. |
