i disagree, tommaso. food is not cheap, not unbearably inflationary as in the 70's but not cheap. prices continue to edge up (at least where i live) maybe junk food is cheap, but i don't buy that stuff... fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy..wine (notice the tax increases?) are costing more. a box of saltines is three bucks for cryin' out loud..<g>
