Compare those numbers to the ones in the Washington DC table. Washington DC has a far greater crime and murder rate than Texas, but also has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country. A poor comparison that has no value. The great State of Virginia provides the large majority of guns to D.C. D.C has tried to work with Virginia to control the gun flow into D.C. but Virginia isn't interested, it's revenue. jttmab
