The basis of the liberal contention is that we can't afford it because we are running budget deficits again.

WE CAN'T AFFORD NATIONAL DEFENSE???!!!

This is what it has come to. We can't afford the most important single function of government, but we afford to throw money at every other conceivable program.

I can only say that I'm pleased the liberals are no longer a factor in running our government.
