My grown children were raised with my philosophy How do they know right from wrong? Or are these just relative terms? Did they memorize what's right and wrong for the sake of living in our culture or have they grasped the underlying conceptual basis for these ideas? Do they recognize the single fundamental foundation and purpose for our laws, social and otherwise or were they learned from rote memory? I'm not at all suggesting your grown children are lacking in any way, but I'm just curious how they can anchor their beliefs and perceptions about the world without theological considerations... you have already indicated earlier that you're still searching for yourself, did you also pass along that yearning?
