I admit it - I have no shame. -g-

The difference between Vick and Marino is IMO that Vick is a leader and a winner. He plays big in big games.

At the end of the 99 Sugar Bowl, when things were winding down and it was apparent that we were going to lose, our O-line gave up a sack and allowed the FSU guys to hammer Vick.

Out of frustration, Vick lashed out at his O-line. I had not seen him be so vocal that whole season. The linemen responded by hanging their heads in shame. These were juniors and seniors who were being chewed out by a freshman, and were taking it like it was their coach who was yelling at them.

The moral of the story is that even as a freshman, Vick was the leader of an experienced team. They looked up to him, had faith in him, and wanted to make him proud. When they failed, they felt ashamed.

Vick has always been years ahead of his time. Instead of being a redshirt-SR in college, he's a frontrunner for the NFL MVP.

Sooner or later, if he doesn't get injured, he's going to win the Super Bowl. It might even be this year.
