Here's an interesting idea on the long side: ICN

This is a pharma that used to be under the iron-fisted rule of a shyster CEO. They finally kicked him out and now they have a new CEO. The company has extensive exposure to eastern European markets. Valuation measures in terms of p/e and p/b are unusually low for a pharma, and if the new CEO is any good you will see considerable appreciation over the next few years. I don't currently have a position, but I traded it a great deal back in early or mid-90's.
