No, I don't have any proof that flares were used. Debka alleges it, and my comment was to ask whether this was disinformation.

I don't know what it would cost to load commercial flights with this type of equipment, or whether the cost would outweigh the benefit.

Maybe Debka's writers are shareholders in a company that makes such gadgets, who knows?

Just thought it was interesting.
