Jeff, you're reading too much into the posting of a few. Sure some folks ignored the AV. Until 1347 broke, many of us were skeptical of this rally. But, like many, I have found that those who fight the tape die a painful death. Those who try to predict turns live tortured lives and leave most of the profit on the table.

I took your comments and applied them. From 1347 my shorts have typically been covered within the same day and I have been substantially long. I have been in the technical analysis business for over 30 years but learned a lot from your postings. Helped save me plenty of money.

It isn't really my modus operandi to step into the middle of anyone's thread to announce my good fortune. I'm sure there are many who feel the same way. Let's face it, traders are a lot like beggars. We get some satisfaction of showing others where the bread can be had; not by flaunting the bread in another hungry man's face.

You cannot make everybody listen or do what you want them to. That is just a fact of life.

The retrace was great while it lasted and now we have to bounce around in some fairly unfamiliar waters... I'm not convinced that this will all end badly any time soon. I am open to the possibility of new lows next year but will only worry about that when the indicators tell me the market has stalled and we should be predominantly short. For all I know, that could be years from now. Money is cheap and it will find a home. The market confounds all who are inflexible or who conform to popular TA...1932 marked a stock market bottom while the economy continued to nose dive for years.

Keep posting and take no prisoners.

Goin' with the flow.
