We got a bit of that with the congressional stuff but not nearly enough

I suppose you are willing to blame the Bush Administration for Daschle's failure to get the Demo-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee to do a first-class, bang-up job?

How did Bush do it? Point a loaded gun at Daschle's head and tell him he'll pull the trigger if he didn't stop the Senate from doing a proper investigation? LOL.

The left really does amuse me. Misses the obvious, picks at crumbs and then says it's a tasty chocolate cake.

Daschle and his Demo cronies did not do a good job for the obvious reason, namely, the Demos, including Clinton and Gore, would look like a pile of, well, you know, if the deficiencies of the Clinton Administration vis-a-vis AQ and OBL were brought to light. Bush had nothing to do with this as Daschle held all the cards, which he folded.

The question you need to ask yourself is why did Daschle cave after making a weak call for a full investigation? If your answer is "Bush made him do it", then there's little I can do as you are obviously are wearing blinders you refuse to remove.

Bush is much smarter politically than his opponents. The news on the Clinton Administration's deficiencies will be coming out about the time the '04 race becomes heated, after Iraq has been successfully concluded.

Replay of '02 mid-term election coming up.
