Dean Suposs, President of Avert, confirmed with me that Automatic Data Processing (AUD) is one of a few companies reviewing their product with the possibility of an alliance developing. AUD had their annual meeting last week and my guess is that the pick up in volume as well as price came from AUD employees investing under the assumption that a deal is forthcoming. If so, the implications to Avert could be huge. He expects to hear from them later this quarter.
