I think we're all in agreement that something is about to break. We just don't have the exact day or in which direction. Odds favor the general markets dropping a big stink bomb and gold getting on its horse, but we just don't know. US dollar index is not a particularly meaningful indicator as it is in relation to other currencies. Everybody seems to be engaged in "competitive devaluation" to ward off the effects of deflation, but again, we just don't know what will happen to the dollar. Stay loose, keep an eye on the tape. CD
