Oh, I learn very quickly.

QCOM is the undisputed best possible investment, at any price, of any of the stocks being traded on NASD or NYSE or anywhere else for that matter. The deal of the century.

Anybody who has money to invest and doesn't use it to buy a share of QCOM is patently NUTS! At whatever price it happens to trade at. And selling the stock is for duffers.

Why? Well, because there will be more mobile phones sold next year than this year. And more of the phones sold next year will have Qualcomm stuff in them then the ones that are sold this year. And even more the year after. More sales equals more profits and more profits means higher stock price. Any idiot knows this is how the market works.

And the reason for more Qualcomm stuff being sold is that there is no way anybody will be able to pay for downloading megabytes of data to display on a teeny-weeny little screen without using stuff made by Qualcomm. And everybody who owns a cellphone today, plus as many other people too, and then double this number, will soon want to be able to do this, or use their mobile phone as a semi-disposable mobile modem, or use a killer app that's just about to be discovered. Dr. I.J. says so, so it must be true.

Because the future is so bright. The main reason it is so bright is because of the pile of patents the company holds, which have been more valuable than anyone else's and thus always will be, being Convenient History which we should extrapolate into the future. Inconvenient History we must of course assume will change for the better. Sooner or later. And if Convenient History minus Inconvenient History isn't enough, then we can always throw in some Invented Future like all the stuff the company hasn't done much at all with, which will be even more profitable than the current business is. Because Dr. I.J. wants it to be so.

Amd thus it won't be long now. Just as soon as the stupid carriers figure out that they're in the business of buying the best technology, and the Evil GSM Cabal step out of the way, and Nokia and Motorola and uncounted other handset manufacturers quietly just bend over and allow themselves to be reamed, and every peasant in China sets aside half the annual food budget so's they can get cool ring tones, and consumers smarten up and change the way they view cell phones and start using the technology properly... well the rush for 3G phones with Qualcomm stuff in them will make Pokemon look like a passing craze. And folks owning QCOM will be rich. Which is just around the corner... any day now... we hope.

Is that pretty much it?
