Seriously, note the rotation of leadership in the SAN sector from the primary switch vendors (BRCD, MCDTA, INRG) to the primary HBA vendors (QLGC, ELX) which has taken place during the last few months. Anyone think it the rotation will swing back in the switch vendors favor once Cisco settles in? At their respective peaks in 2000, BRCD had a market cap of nearly $30B while MCDTA peaked at nearly $15B. That was then, of course. |
