Libby
or
J. Smith

I imagine that Canadian Libertarians became enamoured of Heinlein simply because of Libby, they probably hear that a lot. The birth of a clone predicted in I Will Fear No Evil may soon come to pass.
Heinlein was still advocating a super-state based upon American principles of peace freedom and democracy in 1979. His comments about unprovoked attacks against America, though very general in nature, have also proven to be accurate, they were made in the Last Days of the United States.

<<Robert Heinlein - Our other unforgivable sin is being rich while they are poor. Never mind our rationalizations-they see our wasteful luxury while much of the globe starves. Hungry men do not reason calmly. We are getting ourselves caught in a situation which should lead us to expect attack from any quarter>>

I think that Howard was left off the list because respect takes time to develop.
