But what is it about Al Qaeda that makes the situation unresolvable through peaceful means? The fact that they attacked us first? Ever consider the possibility that Al Qaeda would leave us alone if America got out of the Middle East completely? If that's not a possibility, why isn't it? If it is a possibility, why aren't you arguing for it, considering it's an alternative to the violence that you so abhor?

Too late........Al Qaeda has us in their crosshairs, and they are not about to back off. For years now, we have been like a bull in china closet, fumbling around while thinking we're being strong and clever.

And what gaffes prior administrations had not gotten around to, Bush has started and is quickly finishing. We are like the kid fumbling around a bee hive, worse.......a rattlesnake pit. Bush and his cronies think our armament is so powerful, we're invincible. That may be true if we were fighting a standing army, but we are not.

I am unclear why Bush is going after Iraq now......besides the fact that Saddam is a small fish sitting on lots of oil. However, I suspect they are frustrated trying to run down Al Qaeda and Saddam is an easy catch.

But I do know this.....slowly but surely Bush is putting the US in the same position as Sharon has put Israel. And nothing good will come of it.
