Quite A Historical Day

Today the market was quite boring.
That made IDCC's performance today even more amazing.
Despite the market IDCC had quite a historical day.
In dollar terms the volume was the highest for the 2002 year.
In share terms the volume was about third highest for the 2002 year.
The closing price was probably the second highest for 10 years, excluding the December 1999 spike to $82 and then back down.
Rumors abound that the Samsung arbitration news is imminent.
That should suprise nobody as the arbitration hearing finished over 2 months ago.
Also the silence from the IDCC/ Ericsson mediator is really quite exciting.
If the mediation that started over 12 months ago was going nowhere
surely we would have heard about it by now.

I hate the insider sales but you have got to consider them in relation to the total options held and the full tax liability for the person getting the shares.

All in all things seem to look much better than the Decmber 1999 explosion in the IDCC stock.
I personally hope the shorts are looking at the insider sales and shorting more.
Wouldn't that make for fun and games over Christmas and the New Year as we get hoped for news on Samsung, Ericsson and Nokia.
