Scientists can become politicized but not science....

Hehe. Religionists can become politicized, but not true religion.

God gives true religion its ultimate authority, despite our weaknesses. Contrariwise, there is nothing giving science its authority but human consensus, and consensus can and does change. Science is highly political - highly so. It is especially political in that as scientific priests make their declarations, they often affect markets, law and common folks who actually work for a living.

HIV and cancer are political causes????

Dear me. HIV is one of the most political of all causes, and we have myriad lobbyists from the sodomite community to prove it. Scientific declarations on HIV have been used by both sodomites and politicians to shore up votes and disparage those who suggest that it might help to limit the spread of AIDS if sodomites would stop sleeping with upwards of 300 sodomites a year and stop allowing guys to stuff their fists in their arses and stop eating feces and engaging in other consumately disgusting activities.
