There is Mike, its just that there are a lot of "intellectuals" that can "see both sides of the issues". In my mind that means they're either too morally bankrupt, too intellectually lazy, or too politically correct to come to a decision.

There's a country song that says, "You've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything". There's a lot of them out there that are" falling for anything". Take a rest, then come storming back, but don't take it so personally.
