>>Turks, Saudis Offer to Assist U.S. in a War on Iraq - Opening the way for a formidable attack across multiple fronts, both Ankara and Riyadh say they would permit a U.S.-led coalition to use their air bases.<<

Can we give the play-by-play a rest? If I don't respond to your posts you keep hounding me, but I'd like to think about something else right now.

We all know there's a big buildup, we all know Congress has authorized the use of force, we all know that the UN security council has acquiesced to Bush's demand to force Saddam to allow the inspectors in, we all know the inspectors are in.

We all know that it's up to Saddam to cooperate, and we all know that if he doesn't the US will start a war.

The ball's in Saddam's court now and I have no further interest in the play-by-play. I keep up with the news and current events for a lot of reasons, e.g., we may have snow tonight, there's still a Senate seat undecided, scientists just tested a skull in Mexico that turns out to be 13,000 years old and maybe not Indian, etc., etc., etc. I don't care about Iraq until and unless one of two things happens - Bush orders smallpox vaccinations, or we actually start lobbing bombs at Baghdad.

Until then, it's basically all trash talk, and I am not playing any games so no point trying to rattle me.
