I don't have an oil lamp, but if I did, I wouldn't pull the wick up very far... Actually about three years ago, our electricity did go out for about six days! We couldn't even get a hotel room, the Super Bowl was in town....Staying right down the street from us, and they had electricity. By the way, it was the Rams!...remember that one Carolyn?
