The cabbie said that he had arrived two days ago from Russia Did you ask him what he thought of our country. I can almost guarantee that he would said it was a great country. As long as he wasn't breaking any traffic laws, didn't get lost and charged you right amount, it should be non issue where he came from. Driving a taxi cab in NYC is a job that most Americans wouldn't do since the risk of making money after paying medallion holder at least $200 to rent it for the day is great.
