You could be right. But keep in mind that there are 132 tunnels like that on the side of the ridge over a distance of 600m. All digged by the locals. Although, grades are not equal, it could mean that gold is present everywhere.

I agree that management has produced little in the last 4-5 years. But it is not because they haven't been trying.
