Good for Raed if he's real.

US policy towards Iraq has never been kind to Iraq people. No reason they should look at US and the rest of us with anything but a wary eye.

On the other hand Saddam's policy has been even less kind to Iraqis.

His comments don't change my conviction Saddam should be ousted. My feeling is the majority of Iraqi folk wouldn't hold it against the US if it invaded and put an end to the guy and his regime. I'm sure, if they could, they'd do it themselves.

I'm not saying either that they would be wildly grateful if the US does remove him through invasion because that will cause a great mess and a lot of deaths. But he'd be gone and that would count for something.

All choices are bad in the circumstances - just have to go for the least bad.
