I will tell you what my fear is. We all know the TREMENDOUS COST this country suffered, not just in blood but in treasury with the loss of a sole building by terrorists. Can we even BEGIN to estimate the effect on this country if through some means a terrorist group brought down even a medium city, let alone a major city here in the USA with 10's to 100's of thousands of lives lost? Or what would be the effect of an epidemic of some sort nationwide? Thats why TO ME we HAVE to follow Benjamin Franklins rule that an OUNCE of Prevention is worth a POUND of cure. I just dont think we can AFFORD to TAKE A CHANCE that Saddam or other evil doers who MIGHT have access to weapons of mass destruction wouldnt somehow deploy them against us. Too risky in my mind. jdn
