I took the 5 minute quiz yesterday and scored higher than I thought I should.
I guess this was just to get me to try another.
So this morning I did.
I took the 1st one. It was 35 questions that felt like 135. I scored 132 and found out that it was a gimmick to get you to join their High IQ Society.
There is a one-time, lifetime membership fee of $59.95.
Wow what a bargain! <Said with sarcasm.>
I could spend $60 to be part of a club that I never heard of.
As a member, you will have access to our chat rooms, discussion forums (both general and subject-specific), online game tournaments, puzzles, and the Society's publication, IQ Magazine. You will also have the opportunity to become a member of the International Research Institute, an online think tank which assists corporate, government, and non-profit entities in the search for solutions to complex problems.
I think I'm smart enough to keep my sixty dollars...
BTW, I cheated on a couple of questions. Used a calculator for one and Google for another. Thought about breaking out the dictionary for the other ones but figured it would take too much time. Picked "D" on ones I didn't know.
I wonder how many cheaters have joined their society...

P.S. I did enjoy taking the quizzes though. |
