Actually, I kinda agree with tek about Abrams. Surely W could have found someone as qualified but a bit less controversial. Abrams' controversial actions took place post-Watergate, an event which, in my mind, established new rules. Not so Kissinger's black deeds, so he gets a pass from me.

Besides, how can anyone not agree with the proposition that a Nobel Peace Prize winner, just like Arafat, is not the right guy?
