| Just for the record, I am sitting here smack in the middle of the worst ice storm ever to hit North Carolina, more than a million power outages, huge limbs snapping off trees and some landing on our house, may have to call an insurance adjustor, power is out, ice cream is melting, wood stove running, boughr cheap candles at Big Lots yesterday, have plenty of Coleman fuel and two lanters, have a propane stove conencted to a 20-lb bottle in the kitchen, a week's worth of firewood, AND I have a fully charged lawn and garden tractor 12-volt battery wired to a small inverter, phone line still works, room is dark, but I have made three trades burining one of my ten-cent candles. |
