All:. Did MSFT's Win/98 preview 7/23-24/97 show a Loser/98 ? MSFT held a Seattle fest for computer rag editors but an interview of an attendeee on CNBC 7/24/97 indicated Win/98 could be Loser/98 . He said the improvement was mainly limited to the introduction of a "browser" in the OS and was not greatly impressed otherwise . MSFT timed this preview to blunt OS/8 and missed its target . Now its AAPL's turn ... will they exploit this ? If they do buy the stock . Regards , Jim K.
