Len. You said....." The folks who live on the land take first dibs on the land in question, which is why I speak negatively about the colonization of Palestine with foreigners over the wishes of the indigenous people there at the time. The 94% of the land given away to the Zionists for a Jewish State was not purchased and subsequently occupied by people indigenous to the area.

Big mistake."......

Len I think we have covered some of this topic before. Each time I ask the question ..." what constitutes ownership of land ".... we arrive at the same conclusion and that is who ever is on the land should have retained ownership..Correct? If this is what you are saying then the land should never have been taken from the Jews in the first place some 3000 years ago..Correct? Now the Caanan people no longer exist but there were some of them in that region when the Jews first moved in so they can't very well be owners. And that leaves the Jews the rightful owners of that land if we go by your logic..Correct

So using that reasoning why should arabs be the owners of that land, they invaded that area and took Jewish land as did the Egyptians, Assyrian's, Ottomans, and likely others all of whom took Jewish land and possessions without any compensation. Using your logic the Jews should have retained ownership of the land that is to day the State of Isreal.
