Sure, but I suspect Saddam is far more Machiavellian and will provide the UN teams with the same information in order to show that WMDs are not being produced there. He may well have planted false information in the "treasure map" in order to force Bush to back down at the showdown.
Scenario:
Saddam provides a list of arms programs. No WMDs are mentioned.
Bush gets pissed off and publishes the list of WMD sites.
Saddam says visit these sites and lets the inspectors in.
Bush ends up with a few problems.
1) Bush doesn't eliminate Saddam
2) Bush doesn't eliminate Osama.
3) Al Qeda gets stronger and attacks again.

Now that would be Machiavellian.
