Tonight,
Meet me in the meadow, my love.

With closed eyes and gentle hands, I’ll unbraid your hair
And feel the breeze blow the silky softness against my face
We’ll whisper to the music of our wildly beating hearts,
Embrace on the moist, warm sand of the quietly flowing stream
While the setting sun bejewels you in orange-gold.

On a bed of wildflowers,
I’ll wrap you in the warm blanket of the night,
With the moon for your pillow
And the sweet scent of night flowering jasmine for your dreams.
We’ll let the stars witness our kisses – which you can wear for mittens -
While we wait for the cloud cover
For our bodies to melt.

Tonight,
Meet me in the meadow, my love.

*Eeeeks, I succumbed to the love bug ! What was I thinking ?
** Bahaan was terrific.
