No Confidence
or
Internecine Warfare

This does not bode well for Canada. The international situation is putting additional strains on our country and internal Liberal dirty laundry does not help. Prime Minister Chretien and Paul Martin have created an untenable situation, this could backfire on either or both. I have already heard several prominent Liberals speak out against the tactics that Mr. Martin is using. Prime Minister Chretien will have difficulties if the Mr. Martin is going to continue to exert his influence to create division in the Liberal Party. At this juncture a vote of no confidence would be to the detriment of Canada. Sending this type of message to the world in the light of the current UN/US/Iraq confrontation is irresponsible. Mr. Martin may believe that the Canadian voters will endorse this type of internecine warfare, it remains to be seen.

Canadians should not have to deal with Mr. Martin proving that other Liberals like him.
