How many disk drive, and drive related firms, were there in the mid '80s? Maybe 300? Today? Maybe a tenth of that?
From the investor's standpoint, that's a big plus.

Wouldn't it by ironic if all the years of spectacular growth and losses were followed by a period of slow growth and profitability? Since industry growth means squat when it comes to profits and competition means everything, I would say the chances of this happening are good.
