I'm not so interested in Gitkin's call, as I am Feuerstein's reported conversation. Gitkin could be right on the ball, for all we know. But Feuerstein, who has enough negative bias to be widely popular/read but who is also obviously trying for balance, looks really, really bad (at the moment).
