The Mutual Fund managers who voted over 70% in favor of the LBO are the real criminals in this theft. They should have voted against it, and ousted the management who proposed it and board of directors who approved it.

Which bears on a current issue. There is a proposed regulation to force mutual funds to disclose how they vote on proposals and directors. The funds oppose it. But I think it is an essential step in introducing accountability into public companies.
