Jon- If you look at qcom's chart it is quite obvious that this stock is not hated. Its bottom is way ahead of every index. Its short position is far from outrageous. My opinion is that the shorts are betting on overly optimistic projections as well as markets going down futher, not the solid fundamentals. QCOM is obviously doing well but will have to fight the tide of the markets. Caxton
