I just saw The Two Towers (I won free tickets to a press screening, lucky me!).

I am soooooooo jealous, I could ______.! :o}

Read an article in USA Today recently saying that historical epics are making a big comeback in Hollywood and that this was primarily due to the success of The Gladiator. There are productions planned or are underway to make movies based on The Trojan War, Hannibal, and last but definitely not least - Alexander The Great. I hear Vin Diesel is slated to play Hannibal. Yowsuh! Who on Earth could they get to play Alexander? I hope Russell Crowe, but he may be too old now.

Russell Crowe is also starring in a flick based on some novels that are set during the Napoleanic Wars and on British Ships of the Line. Can't wait.
