Hi Mark. Thanks for the words on Contra and Will DAnoff, I need bringing back to reality frequently. I think I will just let it be. You are right about the ups and downs and trying to chase ups doesnt really work plus drives the investor nuts.
I had received a booklet in the mail (unsolicited but investors get on lots of lists) about Vanguard. It was touting how great the returns were. But the first few funds on the WSJ online quarterly are fidelity funds (sector, but still...). I'm not too interested in bonds, or bond funds, maybe when I retire, for income. But even then maybe not, if stocks keep outperforming as I think they have tradionally done.
